Jude's Icon is an album of a dozen songs which were recorded at different times over the last five years. Each song we hope has its unique character and tells each story in a different way. The influences are many and diverse and mainly we look at albums from the album decades - 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Any album will have two sides although in the digital age there is the randomness of playlists and shuffling.
If you think of the first six songs as Side A and the final six as Side B then this can work - 24 minutes a side which is about ideal and you can start at track 1 or track 7. Which is the best side? You can't tell - that's positive as they are equal and balanced. Sometimes Side A is better sometimes B. (We like this concept!) Just have a listen in whichever way you want and we'll be delighted. Album, playlist or shuffle it still sounds good to us - enjoy.
